my name is Veronica, Im 18 i live in upstate new york and growing up as part lgbt community has been such a journey . ive always known that i liked females growing up but it wasnt accepted among the people who i lived with and growing up in many different foster homes as a child every home had different lifestyle rules and some were not relaxed as otherson the subject . when i reached middle school i started coming out tomy friends as bisexual but only because they came out to me first .when i reached high school being part of the lgbt community was more acceptable and when i reached my junior year of high school i started taking to girls more then guys so i would tell people i was”teetering” as in going into a phase of not knowing if i was bi or a lesbian but in the middle of this years shortly after attending the Equality And Justice Day In Albany in may i decided that i dont just like just guys or girls gender is not a big thing i just like the person whether it be guy or girl for who they are so i just all together quit using labels im still a part of the lgbt community but i dont consider myself straight, gay, bi, or lesbian. I consider myself veronica and that’s who i will always be loving everyne for who they are :)
Thanks for sharing your story Veronica!
